May 11th's Book Beginnings and Friday 56

We've made it to Friday again, which means it is time for this week's Book Beginnings and Friday 56.

This week, I'm featuring Without a Doubt by Nancy Cole Silverman.

This is the third featuring a reporter for a radio station here in LA.  I finished it earlier this week, and it's great!
Here's how the book begins:

"Don't rush me.  I need to savor this moment."

And on page 56, we find this:

"I was hoping I might be able to talk to Carmen about her experience.  Where she's been.  There last couple of days, it's like she's just vanished."

I'll be reviewing this book next Thursday, and I hope you'll come back again then to read my full review.

In the meantime, have a fantastic weekend.

  1. The character's occupation sounds interesting. I've read books about reports before, but I don't think I've found one where they specifically worked for a radio station. Enjoy your current read!

  2. Sounds good. Is it contemporary or historical? This week I am highlighting The Queen of Sorrow by Sarah Beth Durst. Happy reading!
