August 4th's Weekly TV Thoughts

American Ninja Warrior – You can always tell how hard a course is by how many or few finish.  There were what, 3 finishers?  And Drew and Jessie weren’t among them.  That’s hard.  And the beard bet continues.  Looking forward to seeing how winds up winning.  I assume they will show us the results of the shave, too.

Suits – Well, now that Alex and Sam know what is going on, the fireworks are really going to go off.  This won’t be good.  And just as they were beginning to bury the hatchett.  I am with Alex on this, Sam should have told him what exactly was going on with the client.  Glad Harvey figured things out for the cleaning woman, not that I doubted he would.  And I really liked Katrina and Brian’s story.

Take Two – The missing memory thing can be well done or horrible.  This definitely fit into the well-done category.  Very intriguing, although the wrap up was very abrupt.  Still, over all, it made for a very compelling hour of TV.

TKO – Not a good sign for this show’s ratings that they moved it to Friday night.  It was fun to have a show with various champions.  I was glad I got to hear a bit about how Quiddich is played.  I’ve always wondered how it was done in our world since it involves so much flying in Harry’s world.  And, with all these athletes, I find it ironic that the beer pong champion finished first.

  1. I've really liked Take Two which surprised me. I figured I'd enjoy it because I like silly crime shows but this has been way better than I expected! I haven't watched this one yet but I'm looking forward to it.
