That's what acting is about...playing a character that is usually very different from your own character or personality.
Robykylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01039165261093064459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5782277794223039496.post-12967139618732695722021-09-20T19:38:19.349-07:002021-09-20T19:38:19.349-07:00I really enjoyed and looked forward to all the Mur...I really enjoyed and looked forward to all the Murder She Baked movies. They were excellent. I was horribly disappointed in the Hannah Swenson Mystery. The mother, who had been very likeable and entertaining is now a total flake! I didn't care for the sister but the other characters were still pretty good. Even though Hannah's mother was a flake, I didn't like her attitude toward her mother. Very disrespectful. Not loving...just puts up with her and rolls her eyes. I don't know if I will try to watch another one. I'm really so disappointed with the new writing.
Robykylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01039165261093064459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5782277794223039496.post-53095195891743758832021-08-14T16:28:13.926-07:002021-08-14T16:28:13.926-07:00I've watched all of these movies though it was...I've watched all of these movies though it was never my favorite series (my favorite was The Garage Sale Mysteries which I'm still upset about!) and I didn't realize they had released a new movie. It's too bad about the annoying characters though I am glad the love triangle was resolved in the movies quicker then in the books. That's one of the things that kept me from reading the book series.Katherine Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126062556416434416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5782277794223039496.post-28353972519415946602021-08-12T21:45:41.439-07:002021-08-12T21:45:41.439-07:00I was so looking forward to this movie after Hallm...I was so looking forward to this movie after Hallmark abruptly ended them four years ago, but it felt off to me as well. The title is no longer Murder She Baked, the mother, Delores seems totally different and the sister's character will take me some getting used to. I read the movie title was rebranded because different executives were involved and that the previous executives of the original movies weren't able to keep them going. What a shame! It seems the movie fans requesting more are the real reason this movie and hopefully more, got made. There's also a different screenwriter now than before. Oh well at least Hannah and Mike were the same and I'm very happy that sweet Norman is now looking for his true love too!Sharon Braswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18336871204630173646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5782277794223039496.post-21347035559697183462021-08-12T16:51:37.670-07:002021-08-12T16:51:37.670-07:00I have seen all these movies too. I'm so glad...I have seen all these movies too. I'm so glad they didn't follow that annoying love triangle nonsense as long as the books have. I knew the murder in the gym was from one of the books, but I couldn't remember which one. It has been so long since I read them, and I stopped reading the series several years ago. I reached my breaking point with the love triangle nonsense and how it was ...sort of resolved for a bit. Dragonfirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03100834933143172641noreply@blogger.com
