And remember, spoilers start immediately.
The Amazing Race - NO!
Not the Cowboys!! Although,
really, they did themselves in with just a bad day. Even if there had been no U-Turn, they still
would have lost. Now if the Afganimals
had kept their word, the Cowboys might have had a fighting chance, but I can't
argue with their logic. It will be
interesting to see how that choice plays out over the last two legs, however.
Once Upon a Time - I'm still trying to figure out that last
scene. Did Mr. Gold, by trying to get
his revenge, undo the happy ending they'd gotten? It was a great fight between Regina
and Zelena, and I just love how they have redeemed Regina 's character. You can read my full recap here.
Dancing with the Stars - I'm amazed that Candice is still in
it, and she seems to be in the middle of the pack still, too. I'd heard comments about the guest judge
before I watched it, so I was looking for her to be harsh. She was certainly nitpicky, but I didn't think
she was as awful as people were making her out to be. She certainly wasn't mean.
24: Live Another Day - Jack Bauer is back!!!! Yes, I actually cheered when we got to the
beginning and heard "Events occur in real time." Despite all the talk about how they've
"shaken things up," it still felt like the familiar 24 to me. Not that I'm complaining. This event is going to be too short as it is.
Castle - I do hope they've now finished with the story line
of Beckett's mother's murder. That was a
satisfying ending, although it did use the clue the main character has had
without knowing it cliché to get here. I
could see them doing more with it, but I hope not. It was satisfying and fun. You can read my full recap here.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - I did not see that twist with
Garret coming at all. Multiple
cliffhangers and we have to wait until next week to see how they get out of
those messes! You can read my full recap here.
Melissa and Joey - A proposal? And a wedding in a month? Yes, I realize the characters have known each
other for a while, but this seems very fast.
I'm surprised they went there, although less so than the baby last
week. Still, that final scene was so
sweet.
Survivor - A word to the producers - we can see through
you. You spend the entire episode trying
to make it look like the alliance is breaking up, and then they all come back
together when it actually comes time to vote.
I fell for it the first few seasons, but it's just not going to work on
my any more.
Arrow - Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it
does. How are they going to put down all
the soldiers before dawn? I'm assuming
the cure actually does work, but the season finale next week will be very
explosive.
The Big Bang Theory - My second proposal of the week. This one, too, started out pretty funny but
wound up being very sweet. I've been
rooting for Penny and Leonard (who hasn't if you watched the show), so I'm
looking forward to seeing the next chapter in their lives. Oh, and was it just me, or was the movie not
as bad as it was made out to be? Yes,
the storyline is ludicrous, but I could see it being a very entertaining B
movie.
Off to read them.
