This week, I'm highlighting Whispers Beyond the Veil, the first in a new series by Jessica Estevao.
This is a historical mystery that also features elements of the paranormal. While paranormal isn't normally my first choice, I really did enjoy it. My full review with giveaway will be up on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, here's how the book started:
There stood my father, up on the makeshift stage.
And from page 56, we get this:
"For an Aquarius today I would predict a slight head injury, an attempted robbery, and a rescue by a handsome policeman."
Short and to the point today.
I hope you have a great weekend, and if you are in America, I hope you have a great long weekend.
Thanks for the weekend wishes. When I first glanced at the cover it made me think of Mary Poppins. LOL Normall the cover would turn me off, but I do like your 56.
