This week, I'm featuring Cat About Town by Cate Conte.
This is the first in the new Cat Cafe series. I just finished the book a couple of hours ago and really enjoyed it. I'm planning on reviewing it next Thursday.
But in the meantime, here is how the book opens:
The cat's eyes had been on me during the entire service.
And when we just ahead to page 56, we find:
He glared at me now. I recognized that look. It said, You best not be leaving without me.
Short and sweet this week, but I need to get to bed. Have a great weekend.
Hahaha I have a cat now and he also has the habit of staring at me at random points during the day to get his point across. Sounds like it was a fun read, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have an amazing weekend!

I have a 6 month old kitten. He still a bit too busy to sit and stare at me. But I know it's coming....
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed this one. Happy weekend and here's my Friday Meets: http://marelithalkink.blogspot.co.za/2017/08/friday-meets-4-august-2017.html
I've been seeing this one everywhere and it's calling to me! I feel like since I've just adopted an orange cat I really need this one!
ReplyDeleteThat sure describes my cat. LOL She seemed to know what I was thinking or going to do. I've read some good reviews for this one and I can't resist a new cozy:)

It really liked this one! But then, I love her series as Liz Mugavero. Haven't seen you visit my blog recently, Mark. Get your bottom over there and say hi! I have something yummy as always! http://tinyurl.com/LisaKsBookReviewsMTF
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun series. I have Dead Man's Bridge by Robert J. Mrazek this week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a cute read! Cats are so territorial over owners. :-)
