December 2nd's Book Beginnings and Friday 56

I took last week off because I was out of town for Thanksgiving, but I'm back this week for Book Beginnings and Friday 56.

This week, I'm highlighting The Ghosts of Misty Hollow by Sue Ann Jaffarian.

This is one of the few paranormal cozies I read.  Shows what I will do to follow an author I truly enjoy.  The book officially comes out on Tuesday, and I will have my review posted with a giveaway that day.
For now, here's how the book begins:

Gino Costello, the famous crime writer, came down the front steps of the farmhouse, taking them two at a time, to greet his guests.
"Uh-oh," said Emma to Phil, who was behind the wheel of the rental car. "He's not alone."

Jumping ahead to page 56, we find this:

"Relax," came a familiar voice from their left side.  "It's me."
Emma's shoulder's drooped as she let out the breath she'd been holding.  "It's just Granny," she said to Phil.

That's it for this week.  I hope you'll stop back by on Tuesday for my review and to enter the giveaway.
