Thanks to the holiday (and the two finales last week), I've only got one show this week.
Secret Invasion – I think this is another case where a Marvel show should have been a Marvel movie. Part of it is because as a leading character, Fury is a wonderful supporting player. He’s great swooping in for a few scenes in a movie, but seeing him as the lead just isn’t working. And I don’t know the rest of the cast, so it’s hard to be invested. I know that we will defeat the villains, so the tension isn’t building for me. At least not yet. These shows do have a way of building in the second half.
